What’s included?
Inside your free planner you’ll find:
Debt Overview
Before creating a budget, it’s important to understand where you stand financially. This page gives you a simple place to list your debts, record who you owe money to and calculate your total debt in one place.
Money Goals
Every budget works better when it has a purpose. Whether you’re saving for a holiday, building an emergency fund, paying off debt or simply trying to stop living from payday to payday, this page helps you keep your financial goals front and centre.
Monthly Overview
Think of this as your monthly planning page. Use it to record paydays, bill dates, appointments, birthdays and anything else that will affect your finances during the month ahead.
Monthly Budget
This is the heart of the planner. Record your income, fixed expenses, everyday spending and calculate your remaining balance so you always know where your money is going.
Spending Tracker
Small purchases soon add up. This page helps you record everyday spending and spot patterns that could be costing you more than you realise.
No Spend Month Tracker
Fancy challenging yourself to spend less? This page helps you plan and complete a no spend month while tracking your progress and celebrating your successes along the way.

Notes
Every budgeting journey is different. Use the notes pages for shopping lists, reminders, ideas, financial goals or anything else you want to keep alongside your budget.
A planner that works for you
One of the things I love most about printable planners is that you can use them however you like. Some people print a complete planner for the year whereas others print one monthly budget page every month. Some only use the debt overview and no spend tracker. There isn’t a right or wrong way to use it. Choose the pages that suit your life and build a budgeting system that works for you.
New to budgeting?
In How to Budget for Beginners. I’ll walk you through everything you need to do before writing your first budget, including setting financial goals, understanding your income, organising your bills and creating a realistic budget that you can actually stick to.
I recommend reading that guide alongside this planner so you can put each step into practice as you work through the pages. I hope this free planner helps you feel more organised, more confident and more in control of your money. Happy budgeting!
