68 Cent McMuffin (Homemade With Aldi Ingredients)

This is my 68 cent homemade McMuffins with Aldi Ingredients

This homemade version of a sausage and egg mcmuffin comes in 5 TIMES CHEAPER than one from McDonalds itself.  Now we all like to treat ourselves but if you are on a budget this may be a way to have your favourite takeaway breakfast for a fraction of the price.

I’m moving to the UK in a few months so every penny counts at the moment! So here is what I do so that myself and my children don’t miss out on our favourite foods.

You can adjust this recipe to make homemade mcmuffins with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns or any other breakfast ingredients that you and your family prefer.

Here is my 5 Times Cheaper Sausage And Egg Homemade McMuffin Made With Aldi Ingredients, I hope you enjoy them as much as we do

1. Ingredients For Homemade McMuffins

  1. Sausages
  2. Toasting muffins
  3. Cheese singles
  4. Eggs
  5. Plain flour
  6. Oil
  7. Ketchup

These are all Aldi ingredients. I calculated the cost of each muffin by dividing the full purchase cost of each item by the amount used per sandwich in the recipe.

2. Sausage Patty

Remove the skin from 2 small sausages ( or one larger one) and form into a ball. Form into a patty using a tiny bit of flour to stop it from sticking to the board.

3.Instructions

Cook the patties on a med to hot pan in oil for about 15 minutes or until they reach 160F internal temperature. Toast the muffins and fry the eggs about 4 minutes from the end of the patty cooking time. Stack up your fillings and add ketchup if you like. Serve with your favourite hot drinks and enjoy!
